Champions League Qualification ..

i'm man city and have finished my 2nd season (i finished 4th in EPL on both occasions and won the league cup in my 2nd)

in my first season, arsenal finished 3rd and won the Champions League, so there was no problem in taking part in the qualifying round (against juve, and i got trough! .. but lost in the 1st knockout round against barcelona)

now in my 2nd season, ManU won the champions league but finished 5th .. so now the league table says:

1. ECC Arsenal
2. ECC Chelsea
3. ECC Tottenham
4. EC Man City
5. ECC Man Utd
6. EC Liverpool
7. EC West Ham


i guess this means i can only play UEFA Cup, despite 4th place.

but when i go to confidence, it says the board is pleased that the team has qualified for the Champions League..


has any of you had this situation?

I imagine its the liverpool situation where Man U didnt qual but qual as winners so you have to forfit your place.

And it must be a bug that your board is happy

yup... unfortunately, i'm playing UEFA cup despite leaving clubs like ManU and Pool behind me.... well, its my own fault... too many points lost at home, otherwise i would have easily finished 2nd...
