Championship budgets

Ok, just got Football Manager 2010 and what is up with Cardiff's and Newcastle's transfer budgets? Won't let you change your season goals and both give you £0 transfer funds. Is this only happening to me???

It doesn't matter whether it is on the demo or not. I wanted to show you that there are premiership clubs with no budget as well. Just have a stiff upper lip, sell some players and get on with your life.

The budgets are basically the same for the demo and real game and as you can see both Cardiff and Newcastle have Nil.

there's loads of bargains to be had from free transfers anyway
so many players being left out od contract due to clubs wantiung their wage bill down

i'm now playing as leeds after getting promotion from div 1 to championship, now top of that at half way with Van der Meyde, Ian Walker, Amr Zakhi and Lucas Neil all as free transfers
