Chard Town, sick of being stuck in the 10th tier Western League Division One have hired their new manager, Tom Concannon. After years of struggling in the lower leagues, the board have hired a manager they truely believe can take them to greatness.
With limited funds and facilities, the journey begins, but will Chard Town reach the top, or will they just end up where they always have been, stuggling at the bottom.

New manager, and possible alcoholic, Tom Concannon has told the press of his high ambitions, and excitement from the Chard town Loyal is evident.

Join us as we follow this Cinderella story of an underdog team as they try to balance family life, their careers and their desire for success.

The board are quick to announce their expectations to their new manager, expecting promotion from the D1 with a transfer budget of £0 and a wage budget of £350. However, with the team currently spending £510 a week on wages, rather than build the squad, Tom Concannon is forced to relieve players from their positions.
