Cheating - Has anyone being tempted?

I used to save/reload when I first got the game, never played for more than 6 months before getting bored. I haven't cheated since. Never used FMRTE or any similar utility. I do have a tendency towards ragequitting and starting a save all over again, though.
 
I remember in FM 09 , before the new improvement in buying players in fm 10. made two human accounts on one save. and bought benzama for 1m pounds :)
 
On occasion, though sometimes the opposite. In my promotion game, there was a point when I realized my team was all current stars but no potential to improve, and that my stadium was too small, so if I got promoted i'd be screwed financially and relegated, so i made myself lose a few games by shuffling everyones positions around to places they couldnt play. used the next season to build up a lot, and made it to League 1 on my terms, not the computers.
 
I've done reloading a few times, it's not funny when Roger Johnson and Scott Dann both get taken out for 3-4 months XD, not to mention McFadden and Barry Ferguson too

And before i know it, Jermaine Jenas and McFadden are out for 3-4 months in my 2nd season, decided not to bother reloading anymore (A)

Conor - your game must be on "Fergie Time" - like when there are 3 min of extra time posted, but Man U gets 7 minutes to tie it or win it...............

In terms of cheating, I use FM Scout to get training ratings for coaches, so I don't have to spend the time to calculate it myself. I used to look at CA and PA in 2010, but have decided to not do that for 2011. Since my board gives me lousy feeder clubs like in 3rd divison Romania, for example, I will change my feeder clubs to a lower level club in Holland, France, Germany, etc. using FMRTE. I used to restart a game if I lose to a 19th place team or lower at home....until I saw Man U lose to Wolves a couple of weeks back .....now I've pledged myself to no more reloads.
 
When Managing a lower league team, I cheat to make my Assistant better as I'm not good enough to figure out what to do by myself. I'm trying to stop but just soooo tempting.
 
I hate it when I'm playing against bigger team, dominating them and creating more chances and they win 4-0 and then I rage-quit!
 
I rage-quit when I player a lower team, always getting bashed up 7-0 everytime!
 
A couple times I have, yes. Was winning, 1 - 0, against Deagu just a few days ago. Announced three minutes of extra time, fair enough. Nam Song-Chol is injured, Lee Yong-Sueng is injured, Lee Jong-Min is injured. All in those three minutes. Get to the 100th minute, they score. Just exited right then and there. But I'm good with it normally, lost the first game I managed as Seoul and quitting never even entered my mind. Back on Championship Manager 2008, I used to do it a lot, took away a lot of the fun.

i used to rage quite often, but decided whilst not playing FM and away from the emotions that my Macbook cost a little too much to be at risk to be thrown through a window :$

came to the decision that i could quite and save and shut the lid which does the trick ^^)

Otherwise cheating, i haven't, i can't use FMRTE as Im mac, or couldn't last year and before that as it wasn't mac compatible, i haven't even checked this year, don't see the point.
 
i have never used fmrte or genie scout however when i buy a new version i start a save and add manager to top clubs and rinse their budget on my reserve players, that way i can have mega-bucks to spend on loads of players to see how they play. i never complete a season (whats the point if your cheating?) but it gives me an idea of how they play, best roles etc its a scouting exercise really. a week or two later i have the knowledge i want and its time to start managing properly. injuries are injuries and have to be put up with, suarez got injured for 2 months on his debut for me the other day, couple of matches later and top-scorer mereiles out for 5 months - tough! but i just get on with it and use it as a chance to develop youngsters like shelvey and guarch

After a great 1st season on 11.3 with liverpool the save wouldnt load. Have started another but tempted to save before game just so i end up roughly at top of league like i did on first save lol!!
 
I used to about 5-6 years ago on FM 2005, I had just learned how to edit a db and I would always increase my cash, ah the days :'( but as I grew up I have not been tempted anymore
 
I used to have a system for every two times I'd get massively screwed by FM (eg, "last" man being sent off 50 yards out, 108th minute winner against you) I'd allow myself one reload if I wanted it. But I don't like that anymore, it's cheap and empty. I sometimes reload games if they really **** me off but most of the time it's if I get a game with 3+ injuries or if I'm in the middle of an injury crisis and have my 4th choice cb out injured. I play this game to enjoy it as well as being challenged but having all your cb's injured or having to rely on 88% fit players before games isn't fun for me.
 
I've been tempted numerous times but I have never quit. I was probably a second away from rage quitting last season when I went 4-0 down in the first 40 minutes against Manchester United. I decided not too and I ended up winning 6-4. Was good. :D
 
I save before proposing any tutoring and will keep doing it because I can't accept that randomness.

I could accept seeing it rejected for some consistent reason (e.g. players' attributes, reputation, personality) but then I reload and propose the very same tutoring to the very same players at the very same time and they accept enthusiastically? Nonsense.

You do realise that 2 minutes added on doesn't mean it will just play 2minutes, The rule is A minimum of two minutes will be played after the game but they could play another 10 if necessary.

OT - I don't cheat, Course been tempted but why bother ? its like playing fifa career and controlling the other team. Pointless. Last time I cheated was CM4 the old offer 50m then withdraw contract and bid 0 and you get the players :P class cheat that was.

Sometimes I make the old save edit'd rich team and best players but never finish a season because I get bored winning all the time.
