Have to admit nice story mate, can We see your tactics screen please

Here's my current tactics, with the team from the Sunderland Match- Also my next update will be tonight or tomorrow, depening on how quick I get things done. :)

If its english talent you desire mate, put mceachran on Duncs heavy centre midfield training, dont loan him out, and play him as much as you can (10 starts, 10 sub appearances) and see him become world class

same with Bruma!

September 2010.. It Can Be Done...

After a fantastic start to their season, Chelsea should be in no mood to stop. With Liverpool and Manchester United close behind the Blues, Guus Hiddink knows his team can't take a breather. September was also the month where Chelsea would begin their Champions League Campaign- With Roman's mighty eyes watching on.

V Birmingham- Barclays Premier League- Stamford Bridge- Win 2-0 [Anelka & Essien] :
Chelsea's fine start to the season continued at the hands of Birmingham City. Nicolas Anelka opened the scoring after 14 minutes, after he headed in from a Frank Lampard free-kick. Michael Essien doubled Chelsea's advantage after 32 minutes with a cracking shot from inside the area. It was an easy win for The Blues, made easier by David Bentleys red card for a dangerous challenge with 15 minutes left.

V Anderlecht- Champions League Group B Matchday 1- Stamford Bridge- Win 2-0 [Anelka & Malouda] :
Chelsea started their Champions League campaign with an easy win at Stamford Bridge. But the home side got off to a bad start, when Fernando Torres was sent off on his Chelsea Champions League Debut for a 2 footed tackle after 20 minutes. Chelsea did take the lead after 33 minutes, Essien's header hitting the post and Nicolas Anelka tapping in. Florent Malouda sealed the win after 57 minutes, with a goal from a tight angle- Chelsea's Champion League Campaign, off to the best possible start.

V Fulham- Barclays Premier League- Craven Cottage- Win 3-0 [Lampard 2 & Anelka] :
Chelsea took the bragging rights in this local derby, with a confident and attacking display. Didier Drogba's wonderful run and cross set up Frank Lampard to open the scoring after 27 minutes. Less than 10 minutes after, and Lampard's wonderful scoring record against Fulham continued- Torres' shot saved, Lampard hitting home the rebound. Nicolas Anelka put gloss on the scoreline with 15 minutes left, after he turned in from a Frank Lampard free-kick. Top of the league, and Chelsea are laughing.

V Walsall- Carling Cup Round 3- The Bescot Stadium- Win 3-2 [Kalou PEN, Alex & Torres PEN] :
Chelsea made 11 changes to the team that beat Fulham, as they faced Walsall in the Carling Cup. Salomon Kalou opened events after 27 minutes, with a penalty after a challenge on Ramires in the box. Just 3 minutes after, and former Plymouth striker Rueben Reid made the most of poor defending to level for the League One Side. Defender Alex scored from a corner, and Fernando Torres looked to have sealed the win with another penalty with 10 minutes left- Walsall scored in stoppage time, but it wasn't enough as Chelsea Progressed.

V Blackburn- Barclays Premier League- Stamford Bridge- Win 2-0 [Essien & Malouda] :
It wasn't their best performance but Chelsea got the job done. Michael Essien opened the Champions lead, with a powerful shot from the edge of the area after 63 minutes. Florent Malouda confirmed the 3 points, with a well worked goal in Stoppage Time. Chelsea's Premier League dominance continued.

V Valencia- Champions League Group B, Matchday 2- Mestalla- Win 3-0 [Kalou, Essien & Zhirkov] :
Guus Hiddink hailed his sides best performance of the season, as Chelsea ran a riot act in Spain. Goals from Kalou, Essien & Zhirkov put Chelsea in the Group B Driving seat, after a wonderful performance. Valencia could only muster 4 shots, against Chelsea's 17- The Blues also dominating the possession stats with 57% of the ball.

Many Chelsea fans will ponder the question, when will this end? By the accounts of this month, it might not end! Hiddink's made a wonderful start to the season, getting the best out of his Chelsea team from Free-Flowing and attacking football. Bigger tests will come in the League, but at the moment Chelsea are the team to beat.

- Chelsea Boss Guus Hiddink has won The Barclays Premier League Manager of the Month Award for September after he guided his team to 3 victorys, putting them top of the league.

- Goalkeeper Petr Cech has gone over 500 minutes of football without conceding, as he didn't play a part in the Walsall match. This also means the patnership of Luiz & Terry have also not conceded in over 500 minutes.

- Young striker Connor Wickham will be out for another 3 weeks after spraining his ankle in the win against Walsall. Yossi Bennayoun is still recovering from his injury, and won't be back until early November- Jose Bosingwa however, made his return from injury in the win against Walsall.

Whens the next update mate?
Just got home, from a heavily delayed train service (The points which have worked for the last 100 years decide to have a serious fault, with less than 5 minutes of my journey remaining). So I'll get some October matches done tonight, so the next update will be tomorrow I guess.
