I play 4-2-3-1 formation with following settings:

GK - sweepeer keeper defend
DL - full back attack
DCL - central defender stopper
DCR - central defender cover
DR - full back support
MCL - deep-lying playmaker support
MCR - ball winning midfielder defend
AML - winger support
AMC - advanced playmaker support
AMR - winger support
ST - complete forward attack

Philosophy: Fluid
Starting Strategy: Control
Passing Style: Short
Creative Freedom: Default
Closing Down: Press more
Tackling: Default
Marking: Default
Crossing: Float Crosses
Roaming: Default

Focus passing: Down both flanks
Counter Attack: Yes

First XI: Čech; Cole, Terry, Alex, Ivanović; Mikel, Essien; Malouda, Lampard, Anelka; Drogba

The team is struggling to score goals despite having around 25 shots and 55% ball possession. I want Drogba to be team's primary goalscorer but he just doesn't have enough chances... Help me, cause I'm about to lose my nerves :S

My advice would be to search for "tactical theorems 10"... The 08 version completely changed my way of viewing football and playing fm...

Maybe it is bc you have 2 playmakers both set at support roles. Try changing Lampard to Adv. Plymkr Att. or Mikel to Deep Lying Def. that may help

take the focus passing off. with lampard in the middle you dont wana only concentrate going down the wings. obviously malouda will be on the left wing. he doesnt want to be supporting, he needs to be either winger attack or even an inside forward attack. he is a goalscorer

buy jesus navas for the right wing also. you have the money

I tried everything you wrote, none of it brought me no good. I will switch Lampard's role to Att Midfielder support and Mikel to Deep-lying Midfielder Defend. Maybe this will bring better results... Keep in touch :)

Try changing your system to a 41212 with passing through the middle and play narrow.
have ur 2 full backs play wing back and on support and play lampard as box to box and essien as ball winner support both those 2 are amazing in that position and have ur amc as trequesta sorry about the spelling. and have drogba as complete foward attack and the other advanced striker. play balanced and control with press more and tackling set to more cautious and more expressive and more roaming i did this and have had amazing sucsess with chelsea for 4 seasons now and have won everything around hope this helps.

Thanks, mate! I did what you said and added some of my own creativity. Lamps is now attacking midfielder, Malouda has attacking duty and both wingers moving is set to cut inside. Mikel's duty remains the same but I changed team's philosophy to rigid. The result was fantastic - I won 0:5, Malouda scored 2 goals and the others were scored by Lamps, Drogba, Zhirkov (sub).
I am thinking about buying Alexis Sanchez at the end of season, because Navas is way too expensive. I play with Chelsea because I support them, but I'm not a heavily spending manager. I prefer Wenger's transfer policy. :)

Here are match stats... If you think you can improve my tactics, you're welcome with your suggestions.

glad to have helped mate, if you like to go for the younger players then you will probably need a replacement for drogba within the next 2 years. so take a look at lukaku or sanogo. both turn out amazing. for that right wing. mario balotelli usually requests a transfer from man city, he can be picked up between 10-18m so keep an eye on when he becomes available. if you won 5-0 straight away id keep it how it is :)

I think Lukaku is not as good as he was in FM10, so I will go for Sanogo or even better, Khouma Babacar from Fiorentina. But my primary target is Edin Džeko because the man is a real beast up front! I had him in FM10 and he scored 30 goals in his first season. I will unsettle him in first season and probably buy him in second season, or maybe I'll wait until his contract runs out. One more question for you (I see you're a specialist for solving my problems :))... I will soon need a replacement for Lamps. Who would you buy, Pjanić or Pastore?

pastore without a doubt. another good one is eden hazard. yes dzeko is a goal machine. if you ever get stuck just pm me mate and il try my best to help
