ChristianEriksen - Be Legendary

When using the 3 strikers, should the left and right striker have a specific preferred foot, for example should a left footed player play on the left side or would he be better as the right sided striker?

Using the old 433 with Arsenal I use Ozil as AMR but changed his role to AP-A and he won the Ballon d'Or. Did the same with the new tactic and works like a charm. The only thing that don't like me it's the AML (Alexis) not scoring that much.

Ah, this tactic is becoming very Barca-esque, with a couple of more tweaks could be the more similar in this FMs edition.

In my opinion, V1 Fire is more more more better to v2 Legendary.... Fire back !!!!

You want to know the difference? D-line play. I just added a d-line, so if you use the D-line correctly it should be a better tactic. But no problem if you want to go back to 4231 Fire.

Eriksen, wanneer ik met ajax speel, en gewoon lekker veel wil scoren, welke kan ik dan het beste kiezen? het liefste zonder wingers..

mate the 4231 tactic is killing it for me with arsenal alex the ox is smashing up that inside forward role 15 games in and he already have 25 goals scoring 2 or 3 per game and already got about 9 mAN of the match.....thank you and by the way havent lost yet...will be this updated

Hmm.. I don't know what suits best, but I used an R footed on the right side and L footed on the left side. :)

Update: Thank god, I managed to get from europa league places to 2nd with 9 points loss at Man City, but with 2 extra games to play. Also knocked out a powerful Juventus side out from the first knockout Champ League phase. I tweaked the tactic just a little, as I select "lower tempo" instead of "higher tempo" for the 4-3-3 (now it keeps more possession and tends to be a lot better against heavy teams, whilst having a similiar amount of shots and chances) and selecting a BWM-D instead of the defensive midfielder. As for the 4-2-3-1, which is also brutal, I also select a BWM-D instead of CM-D. I feel this single change gives both tactics more defensive stability and I concede less goals, but that might be just me :)
Feel that this tactic is a gem (and surely can get better), mainly for people who love football so much that they don't want to play engine-exploiting nonsense formations as found on this forum. (no offense)
For CE: If I may suggest, I would try to look for some additional tweaking for the left winger and striker roles in the next versions, think both could be more effective.

Losses at ManCity + United were partly because of an injury crisis in my team, i also didn't really have wingers and tactic was nowhere to fluid:)
EDIT: Also please note that I was playing with Cleverley
Media pred.: 4th.
Cheers

Love this kind of reactions. Great tweaks for your squad and thanks for letting me know. I will surely consider some tweaks thanks to your input. Keep it up with your career. Appreciate your comment!

Am I (and just some others) the only one who are having fun with these tactics?
Took over Dortmund because they ended 10th in the Bundesliga. Now just a couple of games in season but lonely on top. More than 4 goals a match for. First match a fast red card and still scored 5 times. Thanks Citri for the ball winning midfielder tweak, working great. I also changed the role for my AML to an Inside Forward.

Great results Mate :) tell me did you select the lower tempo for all 3 tactics or just the 4-1-2-2-1 ?

ps: also loving using this tactics , all three give us an edge to various game situations wich is super nice :)

EDIT: I also changed the role of the striker on the 4231 tactic to Poacher, because since I already had an AP i didnt feel the need for the striker to get so involved on team plays and get back so much and in that particular case it worked very well for me!

On the other Hand on the 4-1-2-2-1 (4-5-1) i like the dlf coming deep to get the ball since there is no AMC he gets more space, and opens more space to both IF's. I changed to IF's because for some reason they tend to work better for me and i like they cutting inside opening space for fullbacks :)

What happened at the Veléz Sarsfield friendly? :) The Inside Forward is working well for me too, Humam Tariq just scored 3 goals in 2 games...

Just the 4-3-3 as the higher tempo is key for 4-2-3-1 in my opinion. Not sure about 3ST, would keep it at higher also... Yeah, I totally agree with you. You just need your wingers to be able to play as strikers if you want to use the 3ST tactic but hey, that's not a big problem at all. :)

I've been using all three and changing them depending on the opposition formation. I never touch anything apart from switching to Counter when needed, it works to preserve (and increase) the lead a lot of times.
I like the balance of roles and I hate BWM because ALL tactics around here have those roles in midfield, especially at DM.
I like it better this way, even though it might not work as well.

I've been playing as Jomo Cosmos in South Africa. There's a huge wall named Kaiser Chiefs preventing me from winning the league, but I'm fighting for the 2nd spot and domestic cups regularly.

Is everyone still using these tactics as standard or are people changing the tempo as i need help!? I'm not much kop at tactics so need help in using the set of 3 tactics . should i just leave them as they are or change tempo my team is much more suited at at the 4231 tactic and 433

Second squad starting lineup. Dominated the game, but a loss. **** happens. One BWM and two IF's it is for me now, thanks to your feedback. Will see if I can find a good role for the striker in 4231 formation.

First season, Spartak Moscow, squad default. Used tactic The 4231 Formation

Not at all, just have too few hours each day, to play all the FM and other games as much as I would like to - and with some easter traditions in the family too, easter got very busy sadly.
