ChristianEriksen' Tactics

Cheers, mate! For the second year in a row, you have the most consistent tactic system on this forum. I tried them all and I think that your three strikers tactic is by far the best and most consistent. I used your three strikers tactic on four teams: Leeds United (in Championship and Premier League saves), Luton Town (League Two and Championship saves), Cagliari (Serie B and Serie A saves) and Nurnberg (2.Bundesliga) in different leagues, type of matches, weather, pitches and the results are all the same: great attacking football. Without a doubt, there is no other system on this forum to create so many chances. Still, there I think there is a small problem when playing against a fast opponent, as there is always a big gap around the BPD. I tried to overcome this in two ways: 1. Change the BPD from "Stopper" to "Defend" (but then there is a gap between the defensive line and the midfield) and 2. Change the CD from "Defend" to "Cover" and stop playing the offside trap (but then the opponent has more chances, I don't know why ^^)). So, if you think of updating this tactic to a V2, please think about this too.

So is this just for the new tactics or also for the tweaked Beatiful Play versions?

Testing the 442 tactic and its pretty good. Places nice football, all attacking players perform well and the stats are encouraging. Major down side is the defending set pieces. I reckon around 90% of my goals conceded are from set pieces. This is with the default NUFC team though who are not the best defensively! Encouraging start though.

A big problem I have is when the opponent has a player sent off.

What would be a good always ends up becoming a nightmare. The team stops attacking, the other team defends better and sometimes even achieves the goal.

I believe the problem is the narrow and short passing game, because when we get a man the more we join a wider and direct play ... would do as a tactic to these moments?

But when my team gets one less, it even behaves well, as the tactic is already short and compact feature.

Loving the look of the 442, do you use any particular match prep, or do you leave to AssMan?

After nearly a season played in 442, I noticed some points.

> The tactic is consistent against weaker teams. Press well and results in goals. Even my attackers not being ideal (Muniain and Williams and Villalibre), can have a great attack.

> However, against teams of the same size or stronger defense proves fragile. I can not control the midfield, and after great pressure, the opponent can always score several goals. It is also highlighted the high number of assigned goals or set pieces or penalty.

Interesting as always - I just hope that you CE or someone else can come up with a shape like the evolution tactic, at some point - I know my Crystal Palace save would love that as i build the squad around it, and like how it played :)
Still gonna try these tactics when I get the time -christmas and new years been quite busy :\

Excuse for my bad English but your tactics combined with that of Sir goalalot is something devastating

is there any way to change striker roles? struggle to find players suited to the dlf role :(
