Hull City Promoted
Manager Steve Bruce said Hull deserved their promotion to the Premier League after showing "guts" on a dramatic final day of the Championship season.

The Tigers, held to a 2-2 draw by champions Cardiff, finished two points ahead of third-placed Watford, who lost 2-1 at home to Leeds. Leading 2-1, Hull missed a late penalty before Cardiff levelled from the spot.
"I've been in the game a long time and I have never experienced anything like the last 10 or 15 minutes," said Bruce.
Hull had started the day one point ahead of Watford in the table, but had failed to win their previous three games.
And the Tigers fans had to wait around after the final whistle before promotion was confirmed as there was a 16-minute delay in the Watford game following a serious injury to keeper Jonathan Bond.

Hull City announce new signings

Hull City announce signings of nine new players.
Hull have announced the signings of; George Boyd, Yannick Sagbo, Tom Huddlestone, Nikica Jelavic, Shane Long, Maynor Figueroa, Allan McGregor and Steve Harper. Jelavic is Hull's record signing costing the club a whopping ?7.5 million. Shane Long signed from West Brom for ?5.5 million, Tom Huddlestone signed from Spurs for ?5 million, Maynor Figueroa, Steve Harper and George Boyd signed on free transfers from Wigan, Newcastle and Peterborough respectively, Yannick Sagbo signed from Evian TG for an undisclosed fee with Allan McGregor signing from Besiktas for an undisclosed fee. Steve Bruce has said in an interview; "I am delighted that we have signed these top class players. Allan McGregor is a top goalkeeper who will be a key player in our bid for survival while Steve Harper comes in to provide experience and play in games, Maynor Figueroa was an influential part of Wigan's team and I'm delighted he chose to come to Hull, Nikica Jelavic and Shane Long are proven goalscorers and the two will build a deadly partnership, Yannick Sagbo will be an integral part of our team coming in to score goals and Tom Huddlestone is a world-class midfielder who should play for England.
