Does anyone have experience with the classic 4-4-2 diamond (wingers, not CM's)? I'm an Argentine team, last stage I used it without much success, especially in away games. I had the philosophy on very fluid and starting strategy on attacking. The AMC was advanced playmaker attack (I had him ticked as the playmaker too), the wingers were on attack, and the DMC was a ball-winner support (I think). Does anyone have any suggestions on how to use it? All of the 4-4-2 diamonds I've seen have two CM's. I'm thinking about next stage changing it to fluid, control (counter in away games against more difficult teams), and making all of the midfielders on support. Thoughts?

Why not?

There was a very succesful tactic on FM 2010, Goals galore, that was exactly like that. :)
