club reputation?

I decided a while ago to start a game with bayern and see if i could get their reputation to world wide. So i won every competition possible with them for 6 years in a row. While doing this also signed a few star players. I think at one stage i had about 5 or 6 world wide players. Half my staff is also world wide reputations. But not once has my club reputation gone to world wide. Shouldnt being champions of europe 6 times in a row count for something. Fiorentina on the other hand went to world wide and only were once in the final with me. And have i think one world wide player. So how does this club reputation work in fm.

i heard they were just introducing league reputations so better players would join the lower reputation leagues

Well known problem in FM10, apparently gotten fixed in FM11 through the fluid league reputation.

club rep should go up, my cardiff team has a continental rep, with onl;y 2 season of quater final appearances in champs league, a final defeat in europa and one prem win,

only thing i can think that would help.
Have you got a feeder clubs with financial benefits, one from north america and one from east asia. this may helps.

well i have one in north america and the one from east asia was given to me once i started. They are a japanese team.
