Clubs rejecting my bids after accepting them?

So for quite a few players I'm targetting like Rajkovic and Romero, I make an offer to the club and negotiate the fee down to something I can afford on my budget. The club finally accepts my offer and I confirm it.

After a few days I get a message that the bid is now rejected, after the club had already accepted it. And now they are demanding more money.

i've had that a few times it seems to happen when another team bids more than that amount they accepted from you, seems like they try get you to match said bid by rejecting your old bid
