Does anyone take any notice of your coach's advice about when the opposition score/concede most of their goals?

Is it worth pushing forward that bit more when they're most likely to concede, or dropping a little deeper when they're most likely to score? Any evidence to suggest either tactic works?

dont really pay attention to that, its just statistics that he thinks means something.

Also, you're playing different teams, with different players with different tactics so you cant guarantee that anything will work.

i only pay attention if their concede and score piriod falls in the same quarter, that means the go to overload at that point if the game is still a draw(most of the time) and can be exploited

Ah, good thinking Riddl3r.

In what way would you exploit if a team is overloading on you... counter attack?
