Problem number two. (And this time its an even more common one than CP #1.)
Boredom. For a thread that talks about how to not get stuck on the snooze train before you start a game, I thoroughly recommend you head here http://www.fm-base.co.uk/forum/football-manager-2012-discussion/103874-getting-bored.htmlhttp://www.fm-base.co.uk/forum/football-manager-2012-discussion/103874-getting-bored.htmlhttp://www.fm-base.co.uk/forum/football-manager-2012-discussion/103874-getting-bored.htmlhttp://www.fm-base.co.uk/forum/football-manager-2012-discussion/103874-getting-bored.htmlhttp://www.fm-base.co.uk/forum/football-manager-2012-discussion/103874-getting-bored.htmlfirst.

However if you're already on the platform, ready to leave for a new game and in-completion of your hopes of become the greatest ever, stick around. ;)

Even the most intense FM players can eventually get bored of a particular game or save. Sometimes its due to achieving to little or getting stuck in a low division, but it can also be down to over-achievement and finding a particular league too easy.

So here's my top 5 tips on how not to get bored in your existing game, before you reach "the top".

1) Youth Club. If you're finding a particular league easy, try playing with a youth team or U23 team.

2) National Service. Personally I find nothing more exciting than leading Ireland or Russia or Belgium to a World Cup Final, even if I don't win in the end.

3) Ch-ch-ch-Changes. The easiest way to mix things up is to mix things up. If you carry out 2), then adding the national domestic league to the game is a nice way to go from one club to another without the game feeling too unrealistic.

4) Become the school bully. Childish? Oh yes, but what could be funnier that nicknaming Messi as "***** Baws" having a back four of "Phil McCracken", "Hugh Jazz", "Ben Dover", and "**** Burns".

5) Steaming ahead. If you have steam then you'll probably know about all of the achievements you could go for, and why not? Some are a little outlandish, I'll agree, and having anyone from Alloa Athletic selected in the World XI is going to be tough, but give it a shot and something to aim at.

If you have any comments, or suggestions, you officially have my permission to make them (K)

6) Try and win the league with a slightly insane formation and/or radical philosophy. (so you've won the league with a 4-2-3-1, and a 4-4-2, but can you win it with a 3-6-1 and playing sexy football?)

7) try and achieve Total Football, with every defender attacking, and every attacker defending- this includes building a team with players strong in all phases all over the pitch and playing in Ajax total-football style

8) resign from the totally dominant club you have created over time, and manage a different, lower team in the league. Try and overthrow your previous all-conquering club.
