For too long now 2 teams have dominated Liga BBVA, Barcelona and Real Madrid, it's about time that someone came along to take the crown...
The closest Sociedad have come to winning Liga BBVA/La Liga since their victory in 1982 was in 2003 when they sorely missed out to Real Madrid by 2 points. Since then Real Sociedad have been relegated and promoted but have never been closer than 4th. Without a top division trophy in around 30 years Real Sociedad are on somewhat of a drought but have the potential to be a force in Europe. I am hoping to unleash that potential within 5 years.
