Match Day 5 Gangneung City vs BTC 15.9.2009

First Half

There was very few chances in the first 10 minutes but Gangeung got their chance in the 16 minute when Hwang Sung-Joo found himself with plenty of space and rifled it in top corner...1-0 Gangneung...There was a few chances after but the game went into half time 1-0.

Half time

Both teams come out of half time nervy but BTC had a great chance which they failed to convert.WOULD IT PROVE COSTLY. However the best chane of the game came BTC'S way in the 76th minute when Lee Jae-Young dropped the shoulder past the defender and kept his cool by placing it past the keeper...1-1... both teams were nervy and their was one last chance in the 94 minute when BTC had a corner. It was whipped in with real vernom and uncertainty in the Gangneung defence. Lee Dong-Joon misjudged his header towards goal but Kim Duk-Joong didnt realise the ball was going wide so attempted a clearnce an put the ball in his own net. What a finish...2-1 BTC...

I am truely delighted with the team for not giving up and it proved vital. We got very lucky for the last goal and feel sorry for Kim but we wont complain'

Match Day 6 BTC vs Cheonan 26.9.2009​


First Half​

In an easy predicted match BTC had a lot of pressure from the fans and all the neutral fans out there. The pressure was lifted a bit in the 14th minute when Park Hyuk-Soon pounced on the loose ball to rifle the ball past the keeper...1-0 BTC... there was little chances in the rest of the half apart from a chance from a corner for Cehonan.​

Second Half​

There was a few chances for Cheonan at the start of the second half to draw level but they failed to capitalise and BTC made them pay to wrap up the 3 points in the 91st minute when Shin Hyun-Hyo got to the loose ball again to smash past the keeper...2-0 BTC...​

I would say monthly, every game would be too much of a burden on you, monthly allows you to play, then write a bit, rather than playing just one game then writing. It moves your story along quicker. For big games like finals do a game update.

First Half
In a thrilling encounter on a Saturday afternoon it looked to be an eventful afternoon. Kimhae took the lead when a bizarre freekick was given which Lee Seung-Hwan curled around the wall into the top corner…What a GOAL…1-0 Kimhae…However the lead didn’t last long as Park Joon-Hong rifled the ball in the top corner…1-1…20 minutes had passed when another goal was scored as Cho Sung-Rae put the ball in the top corner…What a game this is turning out to be…2-1 BTC…
Second Half
The second half kicked off and both teams looked lively and up for a fight. However it wasn’t long before another goal was scored and again it was BTC as Kim Sung-Kil loses his man and puts the ball past the keeper…3-1 BTC…BTC was starting to cruise and take control and it proved dividend moments later as Kimhae was caught napping and Yeo Seung-Won made them pay with a trademark strike…4-1 BTC…However Kimhae never gave up and got rewarded in the 84th min when Choo Woon-Ki got free of defenders and got Kimhae back into the game…4-2 BTC…What a GAME…but can Kimhae get a late comeback. It looked on in the 89th minute when Kimhae scored a unique header but was it to late, it was going to be nervy…4-3 BTC…but they held on for the win and 3 points after a cracking and entertaining game for the BTC fans and neutrals.

Month of SEPTEMBER​

After a great month i end the month as an unbeaten manager playing 7 winning 6 and drawing 1. A great month for the lads and as i already have a play off championship place i can start to rest key players.​


Player of the Month​

Lee Jae-Young​

After 5 goals in 7 games and chipping in with some assists and a great workrate i feel that he deserves player of the month.​

Match Day 8 HMD vs BTC 17.10.2009​

First Half​

This was a game where the bookies predicted it to be very close. This looked on the cards early on as very little chances were made. But the game sprang into life in the 33rd minute Yeo Seung-Won shot from a narrow angle which beat the keeper...1-0 BTC...but HMD wasn't going to give in lightly and levelled seconds from kick off Choi Chul-Woo moved forward with the ball and rifled it past the keeper...1-1...​

Second Half​

After a very eventful first half the game went dull in the second as very few chances were created and the fans had to watch as both teams went into their shells and settles for a point.​

Match Day 9 BTC vs Kookmin Bank 21.10.2009​


First Half​

The first half sprang into life in the first ten minutes when Lee Seung-Won had a header that cracked against the bar. In the 16th minute BTC took the lead when the ball was whipped in and met by the head off Seung-Won who sticks the ball in the bottom corner...1-0 BTC...​

Second Half​

The first chance of the secon half fell to Sang-Hoon who drived the ball low towards the goal and it buldged the net...2-0 BTC. There was very few chances apart from Kookmin Bank but they felled to scored and the game ended with BTC getting the 3 points.​

Match Day 10 KHNP vs BTC 24.10.2009​


First Half​

There was very few chances in the whole game apart from a few. In the first half Lee Seung-Won had a good chance but failed to capitalise from poor defending.​

Second Half​

Again in the second half there was very few chances in this boring game apart from one chance in the 80th minute when Jae-Young attempted a low drive and it turned out to be a sensation goal from Jae-Young...1-0 BTC... KHNP gave it their all to try and score but failed to get past the rock solid defence of BTC.​

Match Day 11 BTC vs Suwon 31.10.2009​


First Half​

In a very entertaining first half there was a few chances. The only chance of the first half was converted in style as Lee Jae-Young scored a tremedous drive from range...1-0 BTC...​

Second Half​

There was few chances in the second half but Suwon tried there hardest to overcome the BTC defence but failed as BTC ran out 1-0 winners and get the 3 points.​

Octobe Review​

It was another great month for the lads as im still unbeaten as manager and still sitting top of the table with only 2 games to play. We played 4 games and winning all 4 so it turned out as a great month for the lads. I have now played 11 won 9 dreawn 2 and 5 points clear with 2 to play so im close to sealing the closing stage.​

With a few vital goals at very imprtant times i feel that he deserves the player of the month.​

Match Day 12 Changwon City vs BCT 07.11.2009​


First Half​

In a bizarre first 20 minutes there was a completely flucky goal as Lee Jae-Young smashed the ball against the upright and it rebounded and hit Changwon keeper in the head and trickled over the line...1-0 BTC...there was a few chances towards the end of the half for Changwon to draw level but a few fine saves from the BTC keeper denied them.​

Second Half​

Both teams come out from the hal time team talk looking very average and BTC knew if they held on then they was Champions o it was a nervy last 25 mins but BTC wrapped the game and championship up on Jung Sang-Hoon headed towards goal and found the corner...2-0 BTC.​

Match Day 13 BTC vs Hummel 14.11.2009​

First Half​

In a game which was just a run out for the lads and fans for the champions BTc wanted to finish the season unbeaten and unbeatten they did. They took the lead in the 13th minute when Lee Yong-Seung powered a fantastic header in the net...1-0 BTC...the lead was increased moments later Kim Sung-Kil brung down Choi Chang-Yong in the box...PENALTY GIVE...and Park Joon-Hong converted...2-0 BTC...​

Second Half​

There was few chances in the second half apart from Hummel trying to break down the BTC defence but it was too strong and BTC ended the seaosn on a high​
