I am currently Villa and I have just approached January in 2014, I have around £8m of transfer funds to play with and 100k wages.
last season I finished 13th and felt I did well, only for consistency o be my downfall. This season I fully trained my side in the 4-4-2, 4-3-2-1 and 4-2-3-1 formations and when I beat Man Utd 6-1 at home To take me top of the league after 13 games I felt I was onto something. However that game was followed by a 1-0 defeat to Burnley and a 3-3 draw with Hull.
this go me thinking so I looked at my home v away form so come across this shocking fact:
Home: 5-4-0
Away: 3-3-5
again I find it hard on the road, and also consistency is becoming an issue.
Here is my first team squad:
Asmir Bergovic
David Ospina
Saimon
Ciaran Clark
Raul Albiol
Jores Okore
Jetro Willems (inj)
Diego Renan
Michael Essien (loan)
Ignacio Camacho
Charles N'Zogbia (Lst)
Younes Belhanda
Bressan
Anderson
Adryan
Thomas Ince
Wellington Nem
Andy Carroll (loan)
Leonard Kweuke
Mattia Destroy (inj)
Alberto Paloschi (loan)
so any tactical advise - potential transfer suggestions would be very grateful!
