Continuing a real managers career

I see in a lot of posts from people that they are managing as current managers or former retired players/legends.

Does anybody know if this is a real option or have these people simply been created as a manager at the create manager at the start of the game??

Just created mate.

However if you wanted to emulate a manager badly then you could just delete him yourself through the editor and then create a new manager using his name. However you wouldn't have that managers history.

I love to manage as a former player who's not in the game a staff member. I use the in-game editor for editing int caps and goals and upload a picture of him for my profile. On top of that I use fmrte or the in-game editor to edit the staff role, reputation and current/potential ability of retired player I think could become managers in real life.

But the question has already been answered, the only way is to delete that person from the game and maybe edit the int caps and goals.
