contract negotiations help

iam currently playing as Arsenal on my save game but iam having problems signing certain players
I`ve tried to sign Mendy left back from Monaco but every time i try monaco accept the offer but the player does not want to sign as wenger has submitted contract negotiations.

How can i stop wenger doing this please as ive tried sacking wenger but steve bould then replaces him doing th same thing

I'm assuming you have it so the Director of Football handles contract negotiations. All you have to do is go to Staff, click on Responsibilities, then under Transfer (Incoming) change it so you 'Handle new signing contract negotiations for players in your first team'.

Go the Staff Responsibilities menu and make sure that you are the person that handles transfers in the club
