Contract Offer Problem

This is always ******* me off. I need to figure out why this keeps happening to me:

Every time I am offered a new contract (not just on this particular save; it happens on any save) the board always offer me a contract too low for me to accept! But then when I put it up to the minimum the board say no

Is this a just a glitch that I can't do anything about or am I missing something?

I Have Has This Happen To Me, With BArcelona Aswell. What I Did Was Holiday For 1-2 Days And I Got The Job

What I do is 'Use existing terms' then change the end date. That should work.

If I had no wage budget left then surely they'd allow me to accept a smaller £55,000 contract rather than the larger £77,000 contract which is the minimum they'll allow me to accept?
