I am currently in progress of creating a cricket style 'County Championship'. I have replaced the English Blue Square Premier League and the teams therein. I am actually after some help putting the teams together. The teams will all have equal finances, reputation, etc and will use the largest stadium in the region.
I have created the following teams, but would like to know which players should be in each team. The players MUST come from the county they were born in.
The teams i have so far are:
North East (Durham, Nothumberland)
North West 1 (Cumbria, Lancashire)
North West 2 (Greater Manchester, Cheshire, Mersyside)
Yorkshire (North, South, East, West)
West Midlands (Staffordshire, Shropshire, Herefordshire, Warwickshire, Worcestershire)
Central Midlands (Liecestershire, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire)
East Midlands (Lincolnshire, Cambridgeshire, Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex)
London (Greater London)
South East (Kent, Surrey, Sussex)
South (Hampshire, Dorset, Berkshire, Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire)
South West (Cornwall, Devon, Somerset, Wiltshire, Gloucestershire)
West Scotland (Glasgow)
East Scotland (Edinburgh)
North Scotland (Aberdeen, Inverness)
North Wales
South Wales (Cardiff, Swansea)
Northern Ireland
Republic of Ireland
I am also wondering if someone can tell me how to stop promotions/relegations from the league.
If anyone would like to play with what i currently have, let me know and i will post the database. At present, the teams are all empty so you would need to do some serious recruiting.
