Crash dumps still not solved!

Hi there. I have read all previous crash dump threads and still no luck. I'm just starting my 7th season on football manager and out of nowhere the crash dump error comes up. After I've attended a press conference just before my first game, the error message comes up. I don't know what else to do and would really appreciate any suggestions you could give me. I really don't want to end this saved game now as I feel it's still got a lot more years to it. I've got a pretty adequate laptop so I don't feel this is the problem. Also, i'm playing on small database, only in the English leagues down to Blue Square North/South. I play it via Steam.
