Creation Centre - FIFA 11

Can I ask what creation centre is. I tend not to read this kind of thing and this is the first I have heard of it ?
 
A web based player and team creator for FIFA 11.
 
Bit generous with a few ratings there Cal but overall it looks good. It's cool that you went with Umbro over Addidas too.

On reflection, I don't know the individual stats of each player and have no idea how the overalls are calculated, so I'll stfu.

Overalls were a bit funny I found, I think they've adjusted the formula. Mental stats don't seem to matter, pretty much down to ball control stats, strength, finishing and various passing attributes. Defenders were very awkward rating wise, had to have extremely high tackling attributes to get a decent overall. But yeah I was a bit generous/inaccurate.

As for the Umbro thing, they were the only brand which provided a striped template which suited Newcastle. EA Sports have a huge, ugly logo, Nike's shirts are all plain, Adidas shirts have very little detail.

Looks like you've done a good bit of research on this Cal :) Fair play man.. In one of you posts it siad that there is more to come, so thank god for that, i havent pre-ordered the game, so i don't have the creation centre yet, but by the looks of your team, so far, all the moaning people have been doing is uncalled for lol.. if they do, do a couple of patches with one or two "fixes or edits" it should be a great tool :D.. can't wait to give it a go on October 1st;).. and fair play once again for the effort :P
 
It does seem that they've tried to improve FIFA this year.
 
Branded football boots are now available, time to go and edit 25 players... No nike yet (were in promotional shots though I think), but there is: Adidas, Lotto, Mitre, Puma, Reebok, Umbro, Under Armor
 
Definately gonna make an overated Northampton Town legends team :P.
 
Be careful editing players... Half of their stats will be changed automatically by the new overall system, for ****'s sake. Got to remake half my starting eleven now and not giving new boots to the rest.

has the new overall system been enforced yet? I've made legends from the 90's like Zidane etc :)

Yeah it has, been moved the to the atttributes pages and you have to press generate for it to change anything

What's the difference? I made a couple of players yesterday, will I need to do anything to make them work? And the generate button makes a random player I think, nothing to do with creating a specific player really.
 
I have nearly finished a shelbourne team for fifa 11 myself will post when available to download
 
I was hearing you can only use your team on kick-off is this true?

The generate button puts all the players stats up so that he is at the overall you have entered, making it quicker for people who are less concerned with accuracy. Their first attempt at this was on the info screen and didn't have a button, so editing a player to change their boots, for example, could reset their stats.

Only in non ranked modes and not in career mode. So you can use them in kick off, unranked head-to-head, created tournaments and maybe more (not got the game)

Since the game is officially out today, I thought I'd update my team post to reflect the one from my thread on the official forums. Anyone else got any teams so we can get a thread going for teams?





Got my code yesterday and spent all night making a team. I found it very sluggish and limited, but it works at least... Definitely needs some more faces or to actually let you adjust the faces, also needs more hairstyles, including some more old fashioned styles like the combover; hard to make legends when you can't get it to look like them at all. Also the kit designing is very limited, I'd like direct control over the third colour, shorts and socks, rather than having these decided by the template used.

Anyway I managed to make my team and publicly published it 'Newcastle United XI', I've tried to be as accurate as I could be where possible with ratings, and players look vaguely like their real life counterparts. You can find it by searching at clicking here. I've adjusted the age of each player to be in their prime / while they played for Newcastle, since FIFA doesn't allow for 125 year olds, sorry Jimmy Lawrence.

ive created my team and it may sound like a dumb question but how do i get the team onto my game ??
 
save it as public or private and then it should auto bookmark then go on my fifa 11 then go onto creation centre and it will be in teams

whenever i press save it comes up your team could not be saved. log back into your account and come abck to the creation centre to save your changes. but surely if i log out without saving it the team will be gone :/

please can someone help as i have spent hours making this team :(

edit: another problem I have bookmarked my team but the team hasnt come up on my game :( any help ??
