Absoliutely brilliant he has been in the La Liga, incidentally he has scored more goals than Messi in all competitions now, CR7 is amazing, my favorutie player
 
For me, the best player in the world and this goal scoring feat backs up my claim.
 
Either way, what he has achieved is phenomenal so congrats to him
 
Ronaldo of today is very effective, but Ronaldo of 2006-07 was so ****** entertaining. So good to watch..

How did I know when I saw this thread title and that there were 74 replies, this would turn into yet another Ronaldo V Messi debate. This is a thread to discuss a remarkable achievement about an incredible player, not one to compare him to one of the best players I've ever seen. This argument has been done so many times before it's boring know.

You're all ******* bores. Argue about something else on a thread which actually is there to be debated on.

Why does there have to be a ridiculous 'Who's better' argument on every thread containing either one of them? Can't we leave that for the appropriate 'Ronaldo v Messi' and just accept that they are both insanely good players with ridiculous scoring records?

Well done Ronaldo, this was no easy feat, that's for sure.

Nobody here is saying that Cristiano is better than Ronaldo. We're saying this record makes him the best goalscorer in history of La Liga.

Also, I believe Il Fenomeno is better but;

Ronaldo - 66 goals, 94 games.
Cristiano Ronaldo - 66 goals, 62 games.

nah, the new look allows for multiple deleting, which didnt seem to work on the last one.

Fantastic effort, over a goal a game, you cant ask for much more
 
Heh, this thread is certainly toned down from earlier.

Incredible achievement. Not going to bother comparing Messi and Ronaldo in a "Best Player in the World" comparison, but if I had to take one of them at my own club, then it would be Ronaldo, without a doubt.

Ronaldo was a striker, if you think Cristiano Ronaldo is a better goal-scorer than him than he's certainly a better better player than Ronaldo was, which I don't agree with. The numbers lie. Sure Cristiano is an all-time great and may have scored more goals than the original Ronaldo, but that doesn't make him a better goal-scorer.
