Arsenio Erico scored 293 goals in 325 games, so I guess he's better than any of these guys?

The point I'm making is that it's stupid to just look at the numbers, just because you did the most of something doesn't mean you're the best at it. A number of other factors contribute to a player's statistics and you can't treat him like he's completely isolated and unaffected by what's around him on the field. The original Ronaldo was paired alongside Raul, who got a lot of the tap-ins, and didn't take as many penalties. Which is why he never got as many as this Ronaldo, who has the whole attack completely built around him.
If you think Cristiano is a better goal-scorer than how could you possibly think the original Ronaldo is a better player? He was a striker, so if he's not as good at scoring goals than surely he isn't as good of a player.
