Everywhere I read about this setting, people usually say it depends on the height of the striker. Drill to little poachers, float to big target men.

And I think this is wrong. Crossess should depend on your strikers role and duty. To be exact, it should depend on whether he is a number nine or a number ten. In RL, on a training ground, a number nine is trained to go on the near post, whilst a number ten is trained to go to the far post. Height wont help you much if you are on the wrong post, will it?

So, a target man with a support duty should position himself on the far post, as he is a number 10, so you should float crossess, whilst a target man with attack duty will position himself on the near post, as he is a number nine, so you should drill crossess.

If you use more then one number nine or number ten, there are more players at the same post, which can either increase or decrease your chances of scoring, depending on opponent.
