Have a look at some stories on here and you will see when they do a update they don't just upload a screenshot and write a sentence or two.

After a poll on the crystalpalace.com website Nacer Barazite has been named the Crystal Palace's 'Player Of The Month' and the 'Young Player Of The Month'.

Barazite chipped in with 2 goals and 4 assists in 7 appearances and producing a dazzling Man Of The Match performance against Nottingham Forest.

When told off the award Nacer said ' I'm honoured to pick up this award, I'm quite lucky to get these awards really as anyone in the squad could have picked this up as they've all been briliant this month and hopefully we can carry on into September.'

Palace manager was all to quick to jump on the Barazite bandwagon by saying' Nacer has been brilliant this month and where only in August so hopefully he can carry on and keep giving 5 star performances.'

Preston 0-3 Crystal Palace (Away)
Great win against an underachieving Preston with the Scannell and Harewood starting to work wonders upfront and now with Scannell is starting to attract interest from bigger clubs and can see why with his performances and his goalscoring instincts.

Successive 3-0 wins now for Palace with Marlon Harewood scoring two absolute screamers then Edgar Davids scored a tap in after a Poulsen cross. Top of the league after Sheff Utd slip up against Blackpool.

Watford 0-3 Crystal Palace (away)
Now the strikers are on fire with a 3rd successive 3-0 win with Viduka coming in and replacing Harewood and chipping in with a goal from a wonderful free kick. Scannell scored again just as i rejected a bid from Tottenham for him and Davids scored for the second game in a row. Could of easily lost the game but Julian Speroni made some spectacular saves.

Carling Cup Game
Bolton 2-3 Crystal Palace (Away)
What a result 1-0 after 5 minutes but rallied the team before half time and was then 2-1 up thanks to goals from Marlon Harewood and debutant Marcos Landiera scoring a screamer. Dreaming of a rout when Edgar Davids scored in the 50th minute but conceded soon after and was holding on from there.

Conceded an early goal again then they had one disallowed for offside but Scannell took his chances and could of had a hat trick before half time then McCarthy sealed the win . Went the whole of September unbeaten and now top of the league.

Unbelievably Top of the league and Title favourites Newcastle are rock bottom yet to record a win this season.
 
That update was little better.

Maybe talk them through the game like i do on my Burnley one you don't have to do as much writing as i do but it would be better i think.

McCarthy chipped in with 4goals 12 appearances and has formed a rock solid partnership with Miles Addison.

When told off the award Patrick said ' I'm honoured to pick up this award, the manager has supported all of us this season and the support he has gave us as resulted in the position where in now.

Palace manager was all to quick to jump on the Patrick bandwagon by saying' Paddy has been brilliant this season and has excelled in his partnership with Miles Addison and i hope it continues into the future.'

nice m8 doing well i got promoted in my second season kept moses and clyn and scannel and got some good free bees and now in prem and doing ok :D
 
October Results:

Not started October on good form with a bad display against City , they should of scored 5 or 6 but luckily Addison and McCarthy held firm. Goals from Scannell and Poulsen confirmed the win with simple strikes from within the box.

Sheffield United 2-2 Crystal palace (away)
Good display against a strong Sheff Utd side could of easily won the game but we'll take the point away from home against our promotion rivals. Sheffield's goalie made a hash f a cross which ended up in his own net and Marlon Harewood with a typical powerful strike.

The way where playing at the moment is like the weather, good one week terrible another and today was another but again played against a team lacking a potent goalscorer. Got a helping hand with another own goal and Scannell scored the winner.

Now this is a result!! Newcastle may not be performing at the moment but i don't care played awesome against Newcastle dominated them all over the park. Goals from Poulsen, Harewood and McCarthy helped us along the way as we cruised to victory.

Starting to display some attacking attractive football as we overpowered them even though making 4 changes. Goals from Scannell and Harewood gave us the win. DRAWN AGAINST CHELSEA AT HOME IN THE QUARTER FINALS!!!

Simon Poulsen has been awarded the Palace player of the month after a recent poll on the crystalpalace.com website with Poulsen getting 45% of the vote.
When told of the award Poulsen said 'Well, I'm proud to recieve this award as the lads have welcomed since I joined in the summer and i just want to thank the fans, player and of course the manager and staff for there support'
