Cup Tied

I have just recently bought a player for Spurs (Jackson Martinez) from FCP during the January transfer window, however on he is cup-tied for the FA cup 3rd round reply.

Does anyone know why?

Am I missing something, as I thought the only way he could be cup tied is if he had played for a different team in that cup??

I loaded up a save from a couple months ago, And the league and cup names in Wales (im TNS) have all changed? The sponsor names have changed like its updated? bring on FM15.
