"Sir Alex Finished"

Was the words all over world news this afternoon as it was announced that Sir Alex Ferguson had collapsed in his home. It is thought that the stress of losing the title in the dying minutes of the Premier League just 24 hours ago was a catalyst the the failure of the Scottish mans heart. Leading Cardiologists have stated there is no way that Sir Alex will be able to continue managing in such a strenuous league and consequently David Gill has been forced to sack the long-serving manager for his own health.

Reporter: So David, any news on the future of Manchester United?

David Gill: Unfortunately we had not had time to yet assess the possible targets for the managerial vacancy at Old Trafford.

Reporter: But have you had any interest in the position of manager?

David Gill: Obviously, in any case where such a large club has lost its manager a colossal amount of interest is generated.

Reporter: Could you give an indication to the type of manager you are looking for?

David Gill: Well Sir Alex had his ways with his years of experience but now we are looking for a young manager to revitalize the club and provide plenty of enthusiasm, something that perhaps Sir Alex was lacking.

Reporter: Its been a pleasure speaking with you David. Thanks you your time.

Not sure if i enjoy the idea of Sir Alex ever being finished ;) but i'll be following.

"Hernandez shows intent in transfer market"

Meguel Hernandez starts his Manchester United career by signing Joao Moutinho from Porto for an undisclosed fee thought to be in the region of 25m pounds. The energetic midfielder is thought to be part of Meguel Hernandez' plans to revive the Manchester United midfield. Mr. Hernandez has also finalized the deal for Celtics tricky winger James Forrest, with this transfer it bring the total number of wide men in Manchester United squad to six, and with interest coming from far and wide for Portuguese winger Nani will Hernandez' hand be forced into selling the man Sir Alex paid a massive 17m for just five years ago?

In other transfer news the defensive midfielder Rio Mavuba joins Arsenal for 10.5m pounds on a four year deal whilst fellow Frenchman Yassine Benzia has joined city rivals Manchester City in a deal worth just over 4m pounds. Manchester United are also thought to be close to completing deals with Huddersfield Town duo Alex Smithies and Jordan Rhodes.

Another player who has left the Manchester club so far in this transfer window is Anderson who has also left for Italy. The Brazilian midfielder has signed for Udinese for a fee thought to be around 7m pounds.
