Okay so i started with Darlington in the BSP and so far i have been under achieving. Im 10th in the league and i have a half decent team and using a 4-3-1-2 formation.

My Team

GK: C.Oldfield
RB: P.Arnison
CB.D.Hone
CB: I.Miller
LB: A.Brown
RCM: M.Brough
CM: A.Osman
LCM: P.Terry
ACM:A.Verma
ST: L.Hatch
ST: K.Hawley

I think this is a league winning team but my tactics are just not working!

Il see how this tactic fairs with my team :D

its the team there the shittest possible

Really not helpful.

Ignoring the comment quoted:

Try playing a possession-based game. High, pressing line, slow tempo and exposing the other team on the counter.

When you play this tactic, make sure that your team is strong and aggressive enough to play it. If they aren't, you're gonna see a lot of bookings and sending offs. Their aggression and strength stats need to atleast about 13/14. That's the average. Go by:

  • Balanced/rigid philosophy: Whichever floats your boat.
  • Controlled starting strategy so that you can retain possession and use it.
  • Short passing to maintain the possession when on the ball.
  • Expressive creative freedom.
  • High pressing. Only do this if your team is not aggressive enough or strong enough to tackle hard.
  • Aggressive tackling: Same as above. Don't use it unless sure.
  • Put on zonal marking so that you can have a balanced and well-organised defence.
  • Have a normal defensive line, pushing a little bit before it says 'Push Higher Up'.
  • Play a narrow width.
  • Play a slow tempo.
  • Have time-wasting in the centre.
  • Have counter-attacking ticked.
That should work with the 4-3-1-2 because of the nature of the formation.

Download the tactic in the attachment and make sure that your tactic is fluid in the match preperation area before expecting results.

tick creativity to little for all players but if you have a player that has creativity 15+, make sure to make him use it!
Can you tell me what your wingers stats are (dribbling/creativity/pace?)
