He has ulcerative colitis, he can't play IRL, so you can't play him on the game until after his return date. On my save, he is expected to be able to play from the 30.6.2012

That could be why
 
The ironic thing is he has been able to play on my save since the beginning (i'm pretty sure) and i'm left him to rot in the reserves cause i don't like playing players that are injured in real life lol! Tried to sell him but nobody woulod even take him for free!

That is because he can play in the reserves for some reason, it just won't let you play him competitively - Tell you what though, it is like cheating with your reserve squad isn't it?
