Data editor help

How do i get the editor working whilst im on windows 7 ?
Ive clicked on the editor but it just not come up any one can help me please let me know ??

more detail please and maybe a screenshot. but it sounds like either, your computer is slow and it is loading or you didn't click the correct file

Screen shot of what mate theres nothing to take a shot of. And my computers brand new mate its not that problem when i go into properties and when run programme on such a such a programme theres no windows 7 might be that ?

It has a listing of programmes to run on but windows 7 aint there
