Decreasing staff attributes

I have staffs occupying several positions in training. When I signed them they have 4.5 stars. But after half a season, the stars go down to 4.

This has happened to me a few times and is really annoying. Spent lost of money to fire them and get new staffs in.

Anyone else experience this?

Had this happen a few times when my training facilities were still ****.
I noticed it happens mostly with coaches of a foreign nationality with low adaptability attributes, but that could just be a coincidence....

Anyway, just try to only sign coaches on one-year deals so you can check how they pan out, and if they get worse, don't extend the contract (and termination fee is also lower on one-year deals)

Odd question. but do the staff attributes change when you notice this or is it just the star rating (which is a combination of a lot of factors including facilities)?

I noticed the star changed. But when I looked at the attributes, it did drop
