He guys I have noticed that a lot of people on the site are looking to make there own skins so I have started this thread to help first thing is the Base Skin which was made by michaeltmurray for editing

FM11 Base Skins(http://www.mediafire.com/?bxd9hdwbbqrh6bw)

In the skin there Is Three folders Fonts, Panels and Settings also there is a file called base2011 which contains the Skin Details that are seen in the game
Name
Author
Description
Version
and the Game Versions it works on currently it is 11.0

Most people who want to make a Skin tend to only want to change the graphics
So to do this first you have to create a folder called graphics

In the folder depending on what you are editing you will create a folder called backgrounds
in the file save a jpg image called default with Dimensions of 1920x1200 this will be the main background for the skin

To change the Main Menu create a folder called main menu in it you can change
Background (jpg image) dimension 1024x819
ALL IMAGES BELOW ARE png
Effect dimension 850x712
logo dimension 500x298
manager dimension 490x800
sega dimension 200x25
sports interactive dimension 45x45
wwwfootballmanagernet dimension 300x26
There is also a folder called black bar, footer and buttons

In buttons there is 9 folders all with the buttons that can be edited

You can also edit other buttons and things by creating folders for them
Anything Else you might want to know is in a note left in the base skin above

Any other Questions you have or if you want any of the other folders to edit more just ask
Hope this helps

Where are the pictures?

what pictures are you looking to see screenshots to show its default or of the files that can be edited

Where's the config for the main menu?

you dont need a config in the main menu folder most of it is handled in the panels folder and in the settings folder
Just put it in graphics folder
