Hi
I started a game with Leamington in skrill north. Wanted to play with worst team to Tey get up divisions for fun.
I'm doing OK but I am conceding way too many goals from through balls straight through center of defence.
Every goal I conceded I find my defence is nearly in midfield. I have set instructions to sit much deeper and everyone in back 4 to defend but no matter what I keep getting caught.

I play 41221 with dm cm cm amr aml st

Can anyone give me some suggestions it's really annoying ?

Here is an example of that goal. Every goal I conceding identical to this one

Are you using pressing instructions in your CBs ?

You need to consider your instructions in relation to your strategy. For example, if you are playing an attacking or an overload strategy your defensive line is high by default. For you to then issue the "Push Higher Up" instruction means that your defensive line will be sitting stupidly high. The same also applies for a counter strategy. By default, the defensive line sits deep, so setting it to drop deeper would mean your defenders would be treading on your goalkeepers toes.
