Defensive Problems

I don't understand defence in this game!? My defenders NEVER tackle, the opposition just run through them almost every time? I have my shouts set to hassle opponents and tackle harder but this doesn't seem to do anything at all?

My last 4 games played, results: 2-2, 3-3, 2-4, 2-2

I don't understand what I'm doing wrong? It's extremely frustrating watching the highlights. My defence just run alongside the attacking player and do nothing at all!? Just let him cross/shoot etc..

Is anyone else having this at all?

I had that, I've got my full backs set to close down more and one of my centre backs to tackle harder which seems to be helping
