I'd been with Crewe Alexandre for almost two years and the season was drawing to an end. With the season almost over and two months left on my contract I was offered a new deal. I delayed the offer as there were reports of unstable finances. My plan was to see if any similar reputation clubs sacked their manages so I could make the switch.

I selected the option "delay until end of season". The end of the season comes, we open talks, I confirm the offer. I then apparently sign a new contract with Crewe for another year.

The first of july comes and I've already started work ahead of the new season, when suddenly I get this:

I'm convinced I signed a new contract, just gonna go through all my messages to see if it's there. If not, I'll have to look for an older save as I was really into this one. :/

A bug perhaps? Or maybe some mistake that you missed which led to you leaving. Very odd and sad.

Then it must be some sort of bug in the game. Never seen that happen before though.

Great timing really, Crewe have hit financial problems and were given a £500 transfer budget. XD
