I'm looking for suggestions on where I can improve my squad for making a push for automatic promotion next season with Derby County.
I finished top half last season and really want to make a push to get top 2. I am using the latest Wally update so I have an already improved Derby squad.
I do however feel I need a mass over haul of the lower quality players I have. Last season I was fairly wasteful with my transfer budget, I spent 700k on getting Marco Veratti in.
I play a 4-4-2 for home games / away games I think I can win and a 4-5-1 for away games / cup games against bigger teams.
I feel I need a goal scorer. Last season my highest goal scorer only got 15 goals in all competitions.
Although I have set the bar pretty high for next season, I would ideally like to bring in 6-7 players all fairly cheaply. I may also look at bringing a few loanees too, probably youngsters.
If anyone has any suggestions at all, for any position, who really come alight in the second season in the championship - please share. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
