I'm in my 6th Season with Basingstoke, and I'm up in League 1, half way into the season in 15th place, everything going well I'm Happy.

Then I get this.

Do I leave Basingstoke (I believe in about another 3-5 years I would have them in the prem, or do I take on the Leeds Challenge, in the premiership with 17million to spend. ?

Stay as Basingstoke, you've worked hard to get them where they are now, and if you leave it might just be a waste of time.

Stay and take them all the way.

Basingstoke. You will feel so much prouder if you do great with them yourself. With Leeds however, it won't be as much of a challenge. Best of luck mate. :)

I have delayed it for a week so far, because my next Basingstoke match is an FA cup 3rd Round tie V Newcastle (who are in the premiership)
I like Leeds always have, its difficult with Basingstoke because there board give you no money (A decent wage budget but no money ever)
Been lucky that 2 players have come out the Basingstoke Youth that are are already good enough to play at Championship Level.

Stay with Basingstoke. But if you really want to give up make a separate save from the game before you accept the leeds offer, then you can continue from were you were once you realize you made a mistake;)

It would be better if you stayed at Basingstoke and took them to the top.Going to Leeds would, yes, give you money to spend, but everything that you worked for at Basingstoke will go down the tube.

I try not to do that for realism reasons, anyway I have chosen to stay, lost my last 2 games in the week I had delayed it.
Newcastle beat me 2-1 in the FA cup, then Stockport Beat me 5-2 in the League.
Wonder if the offer can put players off, anyway hope I dont regret it, it was a good offer.

I try to think what happen in real life, A league manager gets an offer from a team in the premiership who a 10th, with 20 games gone, its January, and there offering 17 million to spend, what that manager do, he would leave I think.

Good man, I have wasted many a game by selling my soul to the devil.

now the game after Stockport, after I have rejected the contract the team win 3-1 at home to Rushden, the fact the mangers future was undecided may have effected the teams performance, I would like to think so

But what are the odds a league manager would be offered a premier league job. I do agree with the
realism, I do it myself but so far I have never gone back any of those saves.

its my first season in league 1, I'm very unlikely to go down, and not in the promotion race, looks like I will finish between 17th - 13th looking at the way the table is shaping up, I'm only winning home games V teams around my league position.
Thats enough for this season, it keeps me in the league and its another year for my younger players to develop, I have a 16 year old winger, and a 17 midfielder who start every game who are improving fast.

Kevin Phillips is my assistant manager lol
