Dipping my toes into Major League Soccer - Advice

So I'm gonna get try my hand in MLS.

Tactical/formation advice?
How do MLS teams play etc?

I have no idea about what football philosophy they have going over there, so any advice is greatly appreciated!

Anyway, you don't need to worry that much about it really, just do it your way, it's not Italy with some major defending and counter tactics with emphasis on rigid positioning, and not England with pacey play and direct passes. Just check the team and choose the formation that suits them better.

It rather depends on which team your playing with.
Houston Dynamo (My Home team) play a sort of hoof-ball without the physicality stoke play with (4-2-2).
A team like LA Galaxy has way more options with some great players so really a 4-2-3-1 or whatever you want to play would work.

Most teams that aren't LA/NY/or Seattle play with a 4-4-2 in a traditional way with a couple of poachers up front.
Philadelphia might be worth taking a look at as they could be up there with Galaxy.
