Director of Football?

Hi guys

Quick couple of questions - does anyone know whether hiring a Director of Football who lists you as his favoured personnel will increase your own job safety?
Also I seem to get sacked quickly from clubs with DoF's. Coincidence? Or is there something to it?

The director of football isn't linked to you getting fired or your job security. He's basically an assistant manager who signs players and deals with contracts if you want him to.

Go into staff responsibilities and make sure that you've delegated "hires/fires first team manager" to the owner/chairman. Sometimes the DoF has that responsibility.
