Do FM16 updates like pr0 work on FM15 and older versions? It used to work but not now

I just installed FM15 again on my pc and I can't get the transfer updates to work.

I downloaded the pr0 fm16 updates put them in the editor data folder and all but when I go to custom they don't appear.I also tried the Whizzkids update and it doesn't work either I just get the license fix files there.

What have I done wrong?
