Like the topic states (not sure if there is a similar post btw, could not find it): Do you cheat by saving the game before a crucial match (to win the league, cup etc.) and play it over and over till you win? (A)

I must admit, i do every now and then. At least...i restarted with Feyenoord and as realistic as the game is i'm in debt and need to win cups to be able to spend some. So i have chosen the second

What do you do?

Edit: I switched this function OFF, so noone will see what you vote
"Make votes public: Displays all users who voted, and what choice they voted for."

I did it when I first started playing, as I was still getting to grips with it.

I did it when i started playing FM years ago, but now never. What happens, happens.

No I don't. I know that it would spoil the game for me.

The last time I did was on FM2006. Now I like to play it as realistic as possible, I lose a cup game then I just build on it for the following year and hope I go further.
This game is so unpredictable this year.
I don't really see an issue with it when it is done to earn cash or save your job.

Ya you don't see it because you probably play some rich clubs with world class players.
But I play LLMs and I don't like it when my finances go red.

why cheat in the game just to win no point in playing is there and no i dont cheat.

Only when I have 10 clear cut chances, 70% possesion, concede a goal from a corner kick and loose 1-0.

There was this one time I lost the EUFA CUP against Spartak Moscow. They outplayed me the whole game and I lost. But after that the game crashed and it made me feel bad lol so i restarted like 5 times til I lost. I was Ipswich btw.

what a coincidence lol last night i took my first season Blues side to the carling cup final against liverpool, i had a couple of injuries and though there was no chance in **** on winning it, although i really wanted to obviously! Being a season ticket holder down the Blues for over 10 years i know how little success we get, so was doing it for the fans ^^)

I had picked my side, sorted my tactics and spent like 5 minutes thinking whether i should save it and cheat, i pressed the space bar and went for it and won anyway!! 2-1 a Cameron Jerome special starting from the halfway running through 6 players :D

I never usually save it for important moments, just regularly incase of crash dumps on the auto save, once a month.

The feeling of winning a cup with an underdog i would assume doesn't really feel any good if you keep having to restart it to get that win... what a waste! you may as well edit your team and give it billions

**** no! then where is the reward when you win, cheating kill the purpose of playing the game and ruins the excitement and self satisfaction when win honestly. I advise any that currently cheat to changed your ways. the game is 20 times better when you win a cup or a league or gain promotion knowing you didnt cheat. anybody can win a trophy by cheating, real football managers dont

Did it before, like fm 08 or something, but nah now I can keep the comp on and dont save for a whole season ^^, discourage me just turning off after a bad timed loss since you have to play the whole season agian. ;)

I only ever play one prem team, whicj is Liverpool, to get used to the new FM then I play LLM's. Right now I am AFC Wimbledon, I was in the red for a while, but that is the game. You can't restart them game in real life and LLM's are meant tobe played realisticly, so saving and re-loading after losing is not realistic at all.

Never - defeats the purpose of improving your team and having 'better luck next year after a good season this year'.

I chose "Done it once or twice", the main point being that it's in the past tense. I don't do it anymore, but I used to back in the days of like FM 2005.
