last year, when I was just starting with FM, I did it once or twice to save my job with San Marino club. But this year I feel If I were to cheat I would just ruin the challenge and I would constantly feel guilty about it.

I only really do it, when something incredibly unrealistic happens!
Example; 3-4 days ago on my Bristol Rovers save, I started first game of the season at home to Brighton. The score at half time was 3-2 to them, which I don't have a problem with. It was just the fact that in total 29 shots had been taken, there were 9 yellow cards in total, and they scored all 3 of there goals in the last 4 minutes of the first half! Talk about action packed!

Pretty much in the same boat as GodCubed. I don't anymore, but when the series first came out and I was younger I used to cheat all the time, steal everyones money and best players so I had the best team and constantly won. Then I realised that was the reason I barely got past the first season.

Now I like to try and get the best team possible without cheating and just doing my best. Found out I'm actually pretty decent at the game as my Wolfsburg story last year proved :)

absolutely gutted when u have like 20+ shots on target and 70% possession and lost 1-0 from a corner which my own defender put out :\

I done it back in 07/08 when I wasn't into the game as much, now I'm a massive fan its all about becoming the best via YOUR ability not cheating :)

I do it when sometihng wierds happens that makes me lose the game. Like a defender putting it out for corner without being under any pressure, or just now as Kyrgiakos had the ball outside the penalty area for 10s then an opposing forward ran to him and took the ball and scored. He just stood still with the ball until the opponent took it!?

nope, if i lose, I lose. There is always another season.

i never cheat on results, i spend too much time on tactics, training etc, which would be a complete waste of effort if i was just going to cheat anyway. though i have 'cheated' once or twice when my star players have picked up injuries that put them out for 6 months or more so i've loaded my last save.

I've actually done quite well with not quitting games and restarting them so far on FM. Whenever I do it's out of anger and I feel annoyed with myself afterward for not seeing things through.

Though I'm trying to work on it, I'll still save just before games as sometimes goals conceded stretch the realms of believability.

I think i have done it once this season. I beat man city 1-0, forgot to save. Restarted, lost 1-0. so i restarted again and got a 1-1. Annoying but i feel it was evened out.

But otherwise no. **** happens in football, a really good team can have a bad day. what is the point of managing chelsea and restarting just because you lose to 3-0 to sunderland. It renders the game into nothingness.

Well, have to say I've done it some times when I'm p****d off at the ref or I get umpteen one on ones but the keeper has suddenly become Albus Dumbledore. :D

I have done in the past out of frustration, but as soon as I'd done it, I seemed to lose all interest in the save, so I don't reload after losing games anymore.

the only time i cheat is when i win a game then it crashes and when i reload it i lose.. i ll keep reloading it till i get a win like i did in the first place

Yeah, I just tend to holiday the game until I get the result. I could never be arsed actually going through the same game twice.

As GodCubed and DMF have said, I used to do this too. The last time I replayed a match was in FM07, and I used to give my team lots of money by adding other managers and buying my **** players for megabucks. Haven't cheated for a few years now and it feels much better, although not always when I'm playing the game.

No, cheating is just pathetic. What is the point in playing the game if you cant accept defeat. Just completely destroying the purpose of the game.
