Once I get fired or get sick of Sporting I'll want to manage Independiente (my favorite team) at some point, but I don't know how it'll be managing in South America. The Libertadores just isn't good anymore, and there's no serious competition with European teams like there used to be (Intercontinental Cup). There's no serious competition outside of Argentina and Brazil in South America, and even now the Argentine league isn't so good because all of the good players play in Europe. The best part of FM is the Champions League and playing the top teams and seeing how well you can do against them, which you can't really do in South America. Is it worth playing outside of Europe? Do you guys every do it?

I agree, there needs to be more of a challenge once, you have won the Brazilian league, what more is there to do. I believe someone is trying to substitute the European Champions League, with a World Wide one which would be awesome..

I've always wanted to win the Club World Cup with someone outside Europe, but never get round to it.

Best I've done outside Europe is win the top division Nigerian and South African leagues, never any special cups or anything though. Would be very interesting to try though, but the out-of-Europe leagues tend to be of a much lower standard and world standing than those IN Europe, so maybe wait to do this in FM 2011 so your league can develop up as well.

Managed some club in the Brazilian second division but didn't go far with it. Will take on the MLS on FM11.

Currently managing in my home nation of Austraaaalia :D Do it every year with Briabane Roar :)
