Greetings,
just wondering if any of you guys choose to manage your reserves/U19 squads. Would managing them cause better development in my youths?

No, but managing my England under 19's were in the under 19 european championship final. i took over for that game only and won, then I got ALL the credit for it!

I don't know if it will help the development of youth player.

But i can tell you that i used to manage my u19 team once on FM07 when i was all about youngsters, talents and nurturing the youth. For six seasons straight.

I've strayed away from it though, as it becomes to timeconsuming.

In FM08, I ignored my first team and bought players solely for Chelsea Reserves.

I remember James Troisi and Franck Songo'o were the best. :D

I used to manage U18's but I find it's too easy, and you win the league all the time. But you may think a player is going to be a great talent, and spend all your time trying to improve him when he might have a PA of 70.
