downloaded databases wont work

how come the dialog box doesnt appear but when it does there are no databases i have downloaded not even config but something called untitled help please

Make sure that in your editor data folder you don't have any rar or zip files and that you haven't created any extra folders inside.

is there anyway of converting dbc files to xml files cos i think thats the problem
