Dramatic Attribute decrease

Hello,
After much debate I decided to post this here, as I decided it was more to do with the player than training/tactics or technical help. EDIT: After osting I realise it may of been more apprrpriate to post under another topic, if someone wishes to move this post then please do :)
I came across something odd with a relatively new signing to my team.

I bought this player on 27th January 2013, after a match on the 19th February 2013 I checked the new signings attributes and noticed that almost everything had decreased by one point.
Please see relevant attachments.

I did some google searching but unless this kind of thing has a specific name I could not find anything.

Has anyone else come across this before or even better, know why it has happened?

It's happened to me too, it's really annoying. I think it's got something to do with club reputation, as it seems to happen more with LLM. This would sort of make sense, as in FM players in the lower leagues develop much slower.
 
Did you edit him with the Real Time Editor? I've heard of people having this before and that editing them with the RTE is linked to it.

Think I agree with that one. Had a major problem with it, but nothing like it ever happened in my Everton save. Did me nut in for a bit. And I don't even use addons like FMRTE or anything.
 
1) your clubs training facilities, coaches may not have been as good as his old clubs so he wont be getting the same level of training as he did at his old club...

2) have you recently changed his training schedule say from Winger to Poacher? (for eg) this happens, the stats will drop 1st before improving on the new stat specific training schedule...

3) he may not know English and may have a low Adaptibilty hidden stat and will take time to get used to his new club
