Newcastle United captain Kevin Nolan is disqualified from driving after being caught doing 65mph in a 30mph zone.

Lol yeah cos Carroll had his foot on Nolans accelerator pedal, did he? Or did he just happen to fill Nolans shoes with lead? Clearly Carrolls fault.

Why do footballers do this ? Its pretty foolish especially when they are in the public eye and if anyone hears about it then its going to be news. He will just hire someone to drive him around anyway..

True but it's not like he was caught doing 37 in a 30. 65 mph in a 30 mph zone is pretty reckless so it's hardly a nothing story.

im not saying its ok, he deserved the ban, but it is a nothing story. if it was joe bloggs it wouldnt even make a local paper

Not that im suprised by the BBC, their standards all falling every day
