Dundalk Fc have announced James Mc Guirk as there new manager. James was a shock appointment with many fans. Dundalk Fc Trust said " he is a huge dundalk fan and I hope he can translate his passion for the club into good performances".
Upon arrival at the club McGuirk said he hopes to get the glory days back to oriel park. This is our second season back in the premier league after 7 yrs in the 1st division. A reporter asked what do you think of the setup at Drogheda United ( local rivals ) Mc Guirk is quoted as saying" Drogheda who?" Mc Guirk also vowed to knock " Shamrock Rovers of there ******* perch "

Dundalk are in the 1st qualfiying round of the Europa league having finished in 5th place the year before.
